Study for the Strike Prevention in the Health Service Organization

Abstract
The present study has a dual concern :(1) to identify and describe the predominent characteristics of health service organization with respect to labor relations, and (2) to verify the factors influencing work stoppage in the hospital organization. The research method used in the verification of the foregoing factors was the focused interview responses to a series of labor-related questions. The subjects were leaders of twenty-four hospital labor unions.
The unique characteristic of hospital with the labor relations is prevailing discouraged work environment within non-physician employees due to the social stratification phenomenon between physician and non-physician groups:consequently lay employees prefered forcible physiological and safety needs to self achivement in the work setting and poor conditions of employment. They also want to revise the present labor law.
